Sewing

I have been sewing since I was able to sit at a machine and have lost count of the items I have created and upcycled, from bridesmaid dresses, back in the day when they were all lace, frills and bows! to teddy bears made from the fabric of a favourite coat, yoga cushions, doorstops, bags and fancy dress costumes. I have made clothes, including complicated work suits and upcycled clothes too.

I feel confident that you can sew to create and upcycle too, for yourself, for fun, for pets, your home, your children or your grandchildren. Let me show you how, whether you are new to the sewing machine or want to rekindle a passion.

Crafting

Sewing is my first love, but I love to craft, so if you have a craft that you fancy exploring, let me know. I should be able to help. There are photographs in my Gallery of various crafting I have done over the years and I had a great time working with the people who took part in the craft sessions organised in the community libraries by Newcastle City Library.
